In 2009, BML was established in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to provide the Middle Eastern energy market with metering-related products, systems, and projects. Through central metering systems for the Emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and the Emirates National Grid, BML has since established a substantial customer base in the United Arab Emirates.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, BML is proud to offer its customers state-of-the-art German engineering technology alongside local content under German Management.
Since its inception, BML has actively participated in multiple Middle Eastern metering projects, from smaller projects like connecting water metering locations to a central system; medium-sized projects like up to 400kV substations with metering panels and a decentralized system for processing meter data (often referred to as an “outstation”); and larger power plant projects with metering for electricity, oil, water, and gas and local data distribution are all examples of these types of projects.
BML is also the approved vendor for ADWEA (TRANSCO, AADC, ADDC), ADNOC, DEWA, ENEC in the United Arab Emirates.

BML attained the ISO 9001:2015 certification.
2020
AGUILON INTRODUCED
Aguilon, a system suite for power plants, was added to BML's product portfolio in 2020. This includes modules for power plant optimization, FDM, and PASS systems.

BML relocated its offices to the Sky Tower on Reem Island to improve accessibility for its clients and employees.
